KC is the co-founding partner of Gan & Lee, where he leads the firm’s Dispute Resolution & Litigation Practice. He graduated with an LLB (Hons) from Queen Mary University of London on a JPA scholarship and subsequently obtained his Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) before being admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2018. He previously practised as a legal associate in the litigation team of Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill.
His key practice areas include contractual disputes, debt recovery, insolvency, shareholder disputes, directors’ liability, and tortious claims. He has acted for financial institutions, multinational corporations, property developers, and high-net-worth individuals in contentious matters across multiple industries.
In addition to his Malaysian practice, he has significant consultancy experience with Lincolns Lawyers & Consultants of Melbourne, where he worked alongside solicitors and barristers on complex disputes matter before the Australian Courts.
With his background as a litigator, KC brings a risk-focused lens to corporate and commercial work. He also regularly advises clients on shares and business sales transactions with a critical eye on potential pitfalls, blending commercial acumen with strategic dispute management to safeguard his clients’ interests.
